The purpose of the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing is to:
- provide a very challenging competition environment for amateur brewers
- recognize preeminent amateur brewers
- encourage and promote excellence among amateur brewing competitions
- recognize and encourage participation in the premier amateur brewing competitions
