QE web site should be complete and active at least one month before the competition date - WHY?

Entrants want to see this year's complete information as the competition approaches.  Most competitions start accepting entries about a month before the competition date.  The sooner the complete current year's information is available, the better; most entrants will appreciate it and, again, it instills confidence and demonstrates good organization.

"But last year's information is on the web site, that should be good enough."

As the current year's competition approaches, last year's information becomes more and more confusing and misleading, and just causes that much more doubt in entrants.

The worst thing of all is mixed information - information for this year's event mixed in with last year's information.  It's confusing and maddening to entrants.
