QE web site should be registered for AHA sanctioning 2 or more months before the competition date - WHY? |
|
Sanctioning the competition puts the essential competition information on the AHA competition calendar. Not only is this informative for serious competitors, it's free advertising for your competition. Yes, it costs the sanctioning fee, but you'll have to pay that anyway. Once sanctioned, the competition info is displayed on the calendar for all to see until the competition date has passed - you may as well take advantage of that. Sanctioning your competition early also inspires confidence and demonstrates good organization. Some MCAB Qualifying Events apply for sanctioning for the next year's event immediately after the current year's event ends. It makes sense - you're a big-time MCAB Qualifying Event, so put your name out there and say, "We'll be there." Be sure to include accurate contact information and web link.
